4. Strategic and operational planning
The Council will consider the status of implementation of the WMO Strategic Plan 2020–2023 (WMO No. 1225) at the end of the first biennium, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the effectiveness of the related mitigation measures, the forecast status of implementation in 2023, and the findings and plans for applying efficiencies gained in support of the execution of the Strategic Plan and the budget.
